Fils d&rsquo;un journaliste juif dissident, Radu Mihaileanu quitte la\u00a0Roumanie en 1980 pour \u00e9migrer en Isra\u00ebl, puis en France o\u00f9 il \u00e9tudie le cin\u00e9ma \u00e0 l\u2019Idhec. Apr\u00e8s ses \u00e9tudes, il exerce le m\u00e9tier d&rsquo;assistant r\u00e9alisateur, notamment aupr\u00e8s de Marco Ferreri.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">En 1993\u00a0sort \u00ab\u00a0Trahir\u00a0\u00bb, son premier long m\u00e9trage en tant que r\u00e9alisateur. Le film b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d&rsquo;un bon accueil critique et obtient plusieurs prix. Radu Mihaileanu signe son deuxi\u00e8me long m\u00e9trage, \u00ab\u00a0Train de vie\u00a0\u00bb, en 1998. Le film obtient un succ\u00e8s international, notamment gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 deux prix gagn\u00e9s durant le Festival de Venise.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Apr\u00e8s une rencontre avec des immigr\u00e9s \u00e9thiopiens en Isra\u00ebl, il r\u00e9alise en 2005 \u00ab\u00a0Va, vis et deviens\u00a0\u00bb, qui obtiendra le C\u00e9sar du meilleur sc\u00e9nario original l&rsquo;ann\u00e9e suivante. En 2009 sort \u00ab\u00a0Le Concert\u00a0\u00bb,\u00a0qui attire pr\u00e8s de deux millions de spectateurs en salles. Le film raconte la tentative d&rsquo;un groupe d&rsquo;anciens musiciens exclus du Bolcho\u00ef d\u2019interpr\u00e9ter un concert au th\u00e9\u00e2tre du Ch\u00e2telet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">En 2011, changeant encore radicalement de sujet et d&rsquo;environnement, Radu Mihaileanu sort \u00ab\u00a0La Source des femmes\u00a0\u00bb, avec Le\u00efla Bekhti et Hafsia Herzi, film dans lequel les femmes d&rsquo;un village du Maghreb revendiquent l&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9 avec leurs maris en refusant d&rsquo;accomplir toutes les t\u00e2ches non partag\u00e9es.
